You guys rock!! (see the list of all the amazing vendors in the credits below, we could not have done this without them)
That being said, below is all the details of our styled shoot, We hope you enjoy!
Fall is such a wonderful time of year. The leaves on the trees begin to turn into fantastic warm shades of orange, yellow, and reds, giving the sense of walking through an ever changing painting of watercolor. The air turns cool and crisp giving way to cozy sweaters, fleece blankets, and bonfires. Fall is such a tranquil time of year. Life seems to slow down and become more simplified and relaxed. In the Midwest, this seems to be a favorite season and we can definitely see why. With ever changing colors it brings new life, and what better way to start a new beginning.
The magnificent color palette of fall played a key role in the design of our photoshoot. It lead to the conceptualization of the watercolor palette, and ambience of the fall season. We brought the King’s table outside overlooking the river. Simplification was important as the color tones from changing trees reflected off the water, and tied perfectly into the table décor. Colors of orange, green, blue, and yellows warmed the space, making it feel more intimate, yet dynamic. Using the geometric gold spheres reminded us of the ornate leaves on the trees, and gave an element of dimension to the overall table scape.
The cake was pulled through on an inspiration of the natural watercolors that flow throughout nature in the fall season, and the greens are earthy and ever present in the natural landscape of the reception scene.
Getting married outside in the fall allows couples many opportunities to create a unique atmosphere for their guests, adding outside furniture and fireplaces gives guests an area to socialize in a more intimate setting. This approach also gives the couple budget-friendly options to utilize the natural surrounding beauty of nature.
